THE CHALLENGE

The local authority in Pune commissioned a new bridge over the river to smooth out traffic flow in the city.

But during the late stages of the project the position of light poles and the design of the railings were changed.

The project manager had to find a solution, which could face tight deadlines but also could cope with a low embedment depth for the anchors.

OUR HILTI SOLUTION

Our local Hilti engineers suggested using our Hilti HVA anchors for fixing the light poles and our Hilti HST anchors to fix the handrails.

Both were approved by the design engineers and incorporated into the bridge build.

Our local Hilti team gave technical support during the design phase. This helped to ensure that the stringent shock load requirements were met. We also gave support onsite during the build.
