1. New Software PROFIS Engineering software suite (Page 27)

The new PROFIS Engineering software suite is developed to tackle the most common design challenges in our industry with the time and cost saving benefits of being able to design from steel plate to concrete connection as a whole. What's more, PROFIS Engineering is fully compatible with the industry's leading structural and BIM software Tekla, making data transfer and 3D modelling much more straightforward.

The influence of concrete strength is added in the session of “Anchor design method according to Annex C of ETAG 001 and EOTA TR 29”.

3. Mechanical Anchor
3.1 HSL4 expansion anchor (Page 67)

The HSL4 expansion anchor is phased-in as an upgraded version of HSL-3 (Galvanized version).

HSL4 expansion anchor exhibits higher or equivalent load performance in terms of tension and shear loads, compared to HSL-3. Besides, HSL4 expansion anchor is the first expansion anchor with unique DMC code makes anchor traceable and reliable identification by “Tracefast” identification system.

Below are some key summaries on HSL4 features and “Tracefast” system.

** The HSL-3-R Stainless Steel Expansion anchor remains HSL-3-R, HSL-3-GR and HSL-3-SKR type.

The loading performance keep unchanged.

3.2 HST3 Expansion anchor (Page 99)

The European Technical Assessment (ETA) report has been updated from ETA-98/0001 / 2018-02-09 to ETA-98/0001 / 2019-10-02. The technical data is updated and the anchor performance is also reviewed according to the latest approaval.

4. Chemical Anchor
Phase-in of Hilti HAS-U Anchor Rod

Hilti has launched HAS-U anchor rods to replace HAS, HAS-E and HIT-V to better serve the customer needs. The HAS-U shows the same performance with HAS, HAS-E and HIT-V for post- installed anchor application in concrete as long as same embedment depth and same anchor plate width remains. 

4.1 Hilti HIT-HY200-R with HAS-U Anchor Rod (page 201)
HAS-U anchor rod is applicable to use together with the HY200-R injection mortar.

4.2 Hilti HIT-RE 100 with HAS-U Anchor Rod (Page 233)
HAS-U anchor rod is applicable to use together with the RE100 injection mortar.

4.3 Hilti HVU2 adhesive capsule with HAS-U Anchor Rod (Page 241)
HAS-U anchor rod is applicable to use together with the HVU2 adhesive capsule.

4.4 Hilti HIT-HY 270 injection mortar with HAS-U Anchor Rod (Page 255)
HAS-U anchor rod is applicable to use together with the HY270 adhesive capsule.
