With the great success from the last PROFIS Engineering (PE) Design Competition, HILTI Hong Kong will organize the second wave design competition with our software PE. We will publish a design case of primary steel connection with a few technical questions regarding the Premium Version function. The highlight of the second wave of competition is the enhancement of design workflow from PE Premium. The multi-load input & SAP2000 integration will help to facilitate and enhance the design process of engineers in the industry.

Participants will submit their PE Premium design which will be judged by officials with engineering backgrounds from HILTI.

1st May: Result release @ Ask HILTI Community

Prize per wave
Individual:  In total 10 prizes each with $2000 worth of HILTI tools
Company:  The top 2 companies with most submission will get a certificate and a 20% off discount on PE Premium
Referral Method 1: Win $200 HILTI gift by making 8 or more referral.
Referral Method 2: Win $200 HILTI gift by submitting the design and referring 3 candidates to join the polling question
Polling: A polling question is set in the online survey, participants who selected the most popular answer will receive an HILTI gift of around $100.

Participation method:
1. All participants need to purchase PROFIS Engineering Suite (Free of charge) on Hilti Online (www.hilti.com.hk) using the work email account.
2. All participants need to register on Ask HILTI platform (www.ask.hilti.com.hk) before the start of competition in order to receive the design case.
3. Please fill in the personal information, such as company name, email and phone number, during Ask HILTI registration.
4. In order to access PE Premium license, participants who wishes to join please comment below this post according to the instruction.

Please design with the Premium trial available in the PROFIS Engineering account. Please feel free to contact HILTI if you encounter any problem.

Submission method:

1. Please email (teamaskhilti.hk@hilti.com) with the design report in pdf and CAD in isometric view attached . Please submit the design using email address registered in Ask HILTI and late submission will not be accepted.
2. Fill in the Online survey (https://forms.office.com/r/Dt6yG6kz1u)

Participants are only qualified if both online survey & email submission are fulfilled.

The design case will be published on 14th Mar. More details will be released in our further updates. Please stay tuned.



Terms & Conditions:

1. The competition starts from 21st Mar to 18th Apr 2022. Submission after this period will be disqualified. 
2. All Participants need to register as both HILTI online and Ask HILTI user before the start of competition.
3. Every participant can only have at most 1 submission. Participants who violate this restriction will be disqualified. 
4. Copyrighted, obscene, provocative and other problematic submissions will not be considered. Hilti Hong Kong reserves all right to make decisions on items that have inappropriate content. 
5. Judgements from the judges are final, and no opinions are inserted. The submitted content will be judged based on design case optimization and understanding of technical knowledge regarding Premium Function. The winners will be selected by Hilti Hong Kong. 
6. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Prizes cannot be exchanged, nor exchanged for cash. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for other prizes.
7. Hilti Hong Kong shall not be responsible for any loss or theft after receipt by the Participant. Prizes will not be re-issued. 
8. The company prize of 20% of discount on PE Premium is only applicable to the company's first year of contract with Hilti Hong Kong and is only redeemable within 3 months from the date of the award notice.
9. In this competition, if the registration information or award notice is lost, inaccurate, indistinguishable or damaged due to any computer, network, phone or other technical issues that do not belongs to the organizer, Hilti Hong Kong, Hilti Hong Kong does not bear any legal responsibility. Participant cannot raise any objections. 
10. Personal Information Collection Statement: The personal information provided by the participant will be kept confidential and will be used for all matters related to this promotion (including but not limited to the verification of the customer's identity and eligibility for participation) and the promotion activities of Hilti Hong Kong.
